Polarcold is a nationwide company who specialises in controlled temperature storage and warehousing. All facilities are registered for all major overseas market access requirements and have very flexible storage temperatures. Like many companies in the frozen food sector, a temperature controlled atmosphere is critical to them.

In 2014 when they began designing a brand new facility in Auckland, they chose Ulti Group to supply, install and service the most reliable, state of the art dock loading design and most energy efficient freezer doors on the market.

Ebert Construction is a professional construction company based in New Zealand that specializes in design and build, and Ulti Group worked alongside them on this project. The install consisted of 5 FasTrax FR Freezer Doors, an Ulti-Roll Insulated Door, 8 Sectional Doors, 8 Vertical Storing Dock Levellers, 5 Eclipse Dock Shelters, 3 Inflatable Dock Seals, and 8 Under-leveller Pit-Master Seals which all comply with Polarcold’s temperature and hygiene standards.

Add-on features included;

• 8 Sets of Steel Faced Bumpers
• 8 Sets of Dock Safety Traffic Lights
• 6 Rapid Door Proximity Light Safety Warning Systems
• 8 Integrated Dock Commander Controls for complete dock system management

FasTrax FR – High speed insulated freezer door that has the tightest and most reliable seal, the largest variety of track configurations, and a true knock-out and auto re-feed feature.

Ulti-Roll – High speed crash-resistant PVC fabric door that rolls upwards, designed for doorways with a continuous flow of traffic.

Sectional Doors – Using an insulated sectional panel design which raises overhead, these doors provide excellent thermal, hygiene and acoustic control.

VHL Dock Levellers – Dock levellers which store upright, therefore offering superior security and environmental control by allowing the truck to fully dock before opening the trailer doors.

Eclipse Dock Shelters – This dock shelter blocks light and seals gaps where previous shelters have failed, especially on trailer tops and corners, guaranteeing the darkest, most environmentally-secure dock possible.

Inflatable Dock Seal – Blowing up and sealing around the back of the truck or trailer when docked, this seal reduces energy loss and prevents pests and vermin entering your facility.

Under Leveller Pit Master Seals – Sealing on the underside of your dock leveller, these seals help decrease energy costs by reducing heat transfer, and improve facility cleanliness.
