Destination Waiheke – Team Ulti Day ’19

Our highly anticipated ‘Team Ulti Day’ saw the Ulti team unite at Waiheke Island on a super unique island adventure…

Team Ulti Day is all about breaking down barriers, getting new team members a chance to get to know the whole team, boost team spirit, and celebrate the hard work accomplished as a team over the past 12 months.

Gathering our entire team together from all the various corners of NZ proved an interesting logistical challenge, but not impossible, even with last minute flight cancellations and 3am starts.

Once safe on land at Waiheke, the team split up into small groups, clambered aboard multiple Toyota Voxy’s and were let loose on the island to complete as many wacky challenges as possible set by the team at Amazing Race Waiheke – From fitting as many locals (and team members) as possible into a spark phone box to acting pirates on an islanders boat, reenacting a scene from King Kong and kissing a local in uniform…’teamwork’ was the key word.

For the grande finale; wine tasting overlooking Auckland City at The Batch Winery. A superb location, a quick lesson in wine making, brilliant local wine and good times! 

It was altogether a fantastic day, thoroughly enjoyed by every single team member. We can’t wait until next ‘Team Ulti Day’!
