Ulti Group installs Ulti-Roll, Dock Levellers inside the award-winning food storage manufacturing facility of Sistema Plastics.

Sistema Plastics produces food and beverage storage containers and distributes them in 82 countries. They have recently constructed a new purpose-built, manufacturing, distribution, office and headquarters building which was judged by Property Council New Zealand as world class in its design and construction. At $57M, the manufacturing plant is one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. The warehouse covers 55,000 square metres, or roughly, six rugby fields. 1,860 tonnes of steel was used in its construction.

The three Ulti-Rolls we supplied and installed have one row of vision panels and come with a light curtain, wind clamps and microwave Radar sensors. Sistema also added a roller shutter door to provide ultimate security and maximum efficiency – all through one entrance.

Roller Shutter Doors

The Ulti-Roll is a compact and reliable rapid door that can withstand occasional accidental impact or collision with fork lifts. The curtain has built in rows of clear PVC windows which is UV resistant and can withstand high wind pressures whilst keeping the wind out and acting as a hygiene barrier. The Ulti-Roll rapid door can move at up to 2m/second, minimising cycle times as well as decreasing energy costs and minimising the chance of forklift impact. This maximises efficiency and safety.
