In this episode, we’re proud to introduce Simeon, our IT and Business Systems Manager based in Hawera. With over 12 years at Ulti Group, Simeon isn’t just managing systems, he’s helping shape the future of how we work.

A Look Inside Simeon’s Day-to-Day

Simeon’s story is one of growth, passion, and a deep connection to Ulti Group’s culture. He first joined the company over a decade ago and has since become an integral part of our operational backbone. His role spans everything from proactive IT projects to daily support requests from a growing team of 70+ people, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“No two days are the same,” Simeon shares. A typical day starts with a quick catch-up with the team (and, of course, a coffee) before diving into a mix of systems improvements and real-time IT support. That constant variety is what keeps him motivated and engaged.

He also speaks about values that have kept him at Ulti Group all these years. “It’s just good, genuine Kiwi values,” Simeon says. That means being honest, straight-up, driven, and focused on performance – values that resonate not only with him but with the wider team culture. Simeon has worn many hats since joining Ulti Group, but today, he leads all things IT and business systems from our Hawera office. His expertise lies not just in solving technical problems but in spotting opportunities for improvement before they become issues.

From software rollouts to backend systems support, Simeon’s work touches nearly every part of the business. And with a team that continues to grow, his ability to scale solutions and maintain seamless operations is more important than ever.

What sets Simeon apart is his approachable, people-focused style. While he thrives on data and technology, he’s always thinking about the end-user, and how systems can be easier to use, faster, and more intuitive? That mindset, combined with his deep understanding of Ulti Group’s inner workings, makes him a trusted go-to for everything IT.
