Z Energy – The Ideal Car-Wash Door

Z Energy, we’ve all seen it, a New Zealand company supplying fuel to retail customers and commercial businesses such as airlines, mines, trucking and shipping companies. Their purpose is to simply ‘solve what matters for a moving world’ and put the service back into ‘Service Stations’.

Ulti Group was contracted by ECL Group, a leading technical services company that specialises in fuel systems and technology solutions, to assist with the renovation of the Russley Rd Christchurch, Z Energy Car Wash. Ulti Group supplied and installed two Stainless Steel Ulti Roll High Speed Doors for the entry and exit points on the car wash to contain any drift and noise from the car wash.

Due to the environment these doors were being installed in, and their frequent exposure to water and detergents, Z Energy required a high quality, corrosion resistant solution that would last the distance. Ulti’s stainless steel Ulti Roll Car-Wash High Speed Door was the ideal solution.

We were able to achieve a great result for Z Energy with:

Both doors being integrated with Z’s Car-wash Keypad and simultaneously activated for simple entry and exit.
The Door Hoods being hidden from view, mounted up inside the canopy of the car-wash and the control box mounted up on an eave. This created a great clean looking, fully integrated solution with the carwash and doors operating as a single unit.
