Ulti’s Daffodil Day 2026

1 in 3 New Zealanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

That’s not a statistic that sits at arm’s length. It’s your mate. Your mum. A colleague you’ve worked alongside for years. Chances are, it’s someone in this very team.

That’s why, when Daffodil Day came around, we didn’t want to just scroll past it.

Across every Ulti branch, teams came together for morning tea, pulled on their brightest yellow, and took a moment to think about the people that number touches – the ones we know, and the ones we might not know yet.

There were morning teas, shared stories, and yellow everywhere you looked.

And together, we raised $2,572 for the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

It doesn’t fix everything. But it’s real and it goes towards supporting people through treatment, helping families that are stretched thin, and funding research that one day might mean the 1 in 3 becomes something smaller.

We’re proud of this team. Not just for the money raised, but for showing up for something bigger than the day-to-day.

To everyone who baked a slice, brought a daffodil, or just wore yellow and made someone smile – thank you.

To the Cancer Society: keep doing what you do.

And to anyone going through it right now – you’re not on your own. 🌻
